Aerodynamic design, smooth gear changes, and excellent build quality.
Not the most comfortable for rough roads.
I bought Propel Advanced SL 0 after a lot of research and a few test rides. I’m a big fan of the aero profile – it really does cut through the wind, especially on flat stretches. The electronic shifting is a game changer, super precise and never misses. I’ve noticed my average speed has gone up a bit since switching. The frame is super stiff, which is great for power transfer, but you do feel the bumps on rougher roads. I swapped out the stock saddle for something a bit softer, which helped. The wheels are fast and seem to hold up well in crosswinds, though I haven’t tried them in really bad weather yet. The paint and finish are top notch, no complaints there. I do wish it was a bit more forgiving on long rides, but that’s the tradeoff for an aero bike. Maintenance has been easy so far, and the internal cable routing looks clean. I’ve had a few people ask about it at the local club rides, so it definitely stands out. The price is steep, but you get what you pay for in terms of performance. I’d say it’s best suited for racers or serious riders who want every advantage. If comfort is your top priority, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a fast, high-end road bike. Just be prepared for a firm ride and a premium price tag.
