Speed PRO Tennis Racquet - Head

I switched to the Head Speed PRO after using the Yonex VCORE for a year, and the difference is pretty noticeable. The Speed PRO gives me way more control on my groundstrokes, which is exactly what I was looking for. The weight is perfect for my style, not too heavy but enough to generate power when I need it. The grip size is just right, and I haven’t had any issues with slipping, even when my hands get sweaty. The frame is definitely on the stiffer side, so it took a few sessions to get used to, but now I actually like the feedback it gives. The balance is really good, makes it easy to swing fast without losing stability. I’ve played about 15 hours with it so far, and the durability seems excellent – no cracks or loose parts. The cost is a bit high, but I think it’s fair for the quality you get. I’ve noticed my serve has improved, probably because of the racquet’s stiffness and balance. The design is also pretty sleek, which is a nice bonus. I haven’t had any arm pain, which was a problem with my last racquet. The string pattern gives me good spin, especially on topspin shots. I’d say this racquet is best for intermediate to advanced players who like to play from the baseline. If you’re just starting out, it might be a bit much, but for serious players, it’s a great choice. I’d recommend trying it out before buying, just to make sure you like the feel. Overall, I’m really happy with the switch. The only downside was the adjustment period, but now it feels like an extension of my arm. 4.8/5 from me.
