Responsive frame, good value, reliable shifting
Grips are a bit slippery when wet
Picked up the Rockhopper Expert after my old bike finally gave out. The frame is really responsive and feels sturdy. Shifting is reliable, haven't had any issues with the gears skipping. The grips get a bit slippery if it rains, so I might swap those out. For the price, it's hard to beat. I looked at the Kona Mahuna too, but the Rockhopper just felt better to ride. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good all-rounder.
