Lightweight frame, versatile for gravel and road, good value for money.
Stock tires could be better for rougher terrain.
I got the Trek Checkpoint ALR a few weeks ago and have been riding it almost daily. The frame is super light and feels sturdy, which is great for both gravel and road rides. I used to ride a Giant Revolt and honestly, the Checkpoint feels a bit more responsive, especially on climbs. The gear system shifts smooth, but I wish the stock tires were a bit more aggressive for rougher trails. Still, for the price, you get a lot of bike. The comfort is solid, even on longer rides, and the build quality seems top notch so far. I like the mounting points for racks and bags, makes it easy to set up for bikepacking. Overall, really happy with it, just swapped out the tires and it's perfect for my needs.
