Excellent durability, keeps air for weeks, feels great on the foot.
A little hard at first, needs some breaking in.
So I bought the Molten Vantaggio 5000 and I have to say, it’s been a good choice for our weekend league. Out of the box, the ball felt a bit hard, but after a few sessions it softened up and now it’s just right. The stitching is really tight and I haven’t seen any loose threads or anything. I’ve used it on both grass and artificial turf, and it’s holding up way better than my old Puma ball. The air retention is impressive – I pumped it up when I got it and haven’t had to add air for almost a month. The shape stays true, even after some heavy shots and tackles. Water resistance is solid too, played a couple rainy games and it didn’t soak up water or get heavy. The touch is really nice, especially for dribbling and passing. The price is a bit up there, but for the quality, I think it’s fair. I’d say it’s more of a match ball than a training ball, but it works for both. The design is simple but looks professional. Haven’t had any issues with the panels or seams. My only complaint is it was a bit stiff at first, but that’s not a big deal. Overall, I’m happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who plays regularly. It’s definitely better than most balls I’ve used in this price range. If you want something that lasts and performs, this is a good pick.
