Superb cushioning, great for long runs. The upper mesh is really breathable, which is awesome for warmer days.
A bit pricier than some other brands, but honestly, you get what you pay for.
So I’ve been running in the Wave Inspire 21 for about a month now, and honestly, I’m pretty impressed. I’ve tried a bunch of stability shoes before (like the Brooks Adrenaline and Asics GT-2000), but these Mizunos just feel more responsive and lighter on my feet. The cushioning is spot on – not too soft, not too firm, and it really helps on my longer runs when my knees usually start to complain. The fit is true to size for me, and I love how the heel doesn’t slip at all. The mesh upper keeps my feet cool, even when I’m out for a run in the afternoon sun. I’ve noticed the outsole grips well on both pavement and light trails, which is a big plus. The only thing is, they’re a bit more expensive than some other shoes I’ve bought, but honestly, the quality and comfort make it worth it. I haven’t had any blisters or hot spots, which is rare for me with new shoes. The support is just right for my overpronation, and I feel like my stride is smoother. If you’re looking for a reliable daily trainer with solid stability, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try. They look pretty sharp too, which is always a bonus. Overall, I’m super happy with my purchase and will probably stick with Mizuno for my next pair too!
